Using the more common 4K sector size, the RamSan-70 performs 600K read IOPS - according to TMS. In write-intensive scenarios, the RamSan-70 will sustain 700 MB/s and 175K IOPS (4KB). This level of performance is possible given the highly parallel design of the RamSan-70 delivered by the TMS Series-7™ Flash Controller. Like all RamSan products, all Flash management is handled internally without affecting the host server's CPU.
